Terms & Conditions

Pritchard Web Design offers three one-off website packages: Standard, Silver and Gold. Each package is a fixed-price, one-off purchase designed to get your business online with clear expectations and no hidden costs.

A £5 upfront commitment fee is required before work begins. This confirms your project and allows me to dedicate time and resources to designing and building your website. The commitment fee is taken off your chosen package total.

• Standard: £40 + £5 commitment = £45 total
• Silver: £60 + £5 commitment = £65 total
• Gold: £80 + £5 commitment = £85 total

The remaining balance for your chosen package is payable once the website has been completed and approved. Payment can be made by Bank Transfer or PayPal Invoice.

The process is simple. First, we'll discuss your business, the services you offer, your preferred website name, and any images or content you'd like included. I'll then design and build your website based on your requirements.

To begin the project, the £5 commitment fee is required upfront. This confirms your project and allows me to dedicate time and resources to designing your website.

Once you're happy with the finished website, the remaining package balance can be paid via Bank Transfer or PayPal Invoice. You only pay this balance after the website has been completed and approved.

After the website has been completed and paid for, ownership of the website is transferred to you. The ongoing support arrangement is then determined by your chosen package.

Changes after completion: included at no extra cost.

Commitment fee: £5.00 — payable upfront before work begins.

Standard package: £40.00 — payable after completion and approval. Total £45.00.

Silver package: £60.00 — payable after completion and approval. Total £65.00.

Gold package: £80.00 — payable after completion and approval. Total £85.00.

Ongoing support

Standard and Silver packages do not include free ongoing support. Changes requested after completion are charged at the rate for your package: £10 each for Standard, £5 each for Silver. The Gold package includes free ongoing support after site completion.

The £5 commitment fee is payable before work begins to confirm your project.

The remaining package balance is only payable once the website has been completed and approved.

Every package includes:

Silver and Gold packages include additional features such as advanced or premium SEO, multiple design layouts and social media integration. Gold also includes free ongoing support after completion.

Most websites are completed within 1–2 working days after I receive all required information and images, depending on current workload.

Following completion and full payment, ownership of the website is transferred to you.

Ongoing support is determined by your chosen package. Standard and Silver packages are one-off purchases; changes after completion are charged at the applicable rate. Gold includes free ongoing support after site completion.

If you later wish to change your support arrangement or upgrade your package, this can be discussed and agreed between both parties beforehand. Any future charges will be agreed before they take effect.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all website design and management services provided by Pritchard Web Design.

1. Project information

The client agrees to provide all information, images, logos and other content required to complete the website.

2. Completion time

Most websites are completed within 1–2 working days after all required information has been received. Completion times may vary depending on the complexity of the website and current workload.

3. Packages & pricing

The following one-off packages are available:

• Standard: £40 + £5 commitment fee = £45 total
• Silver: £60 + £5 commitment fee = £65 total
• Gold: £80 + £5 commitment fee = £85 total

The £5 commitment fee is payable upfront to confirm the project. The remaining balance is payable only after the website has been completed and approved.

4. Payment

A £5.00 commitment fee is payable before work begins. This confirms the client's commitment to the project.

The remaining package balance is due only after the website has been completed and approved by the client.

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer or PayPal Invoice.

5. Ongoing support & changes

Standard package: changes after completion are charged at £10 each.

Silver package: changes after completion are charged at £5 each.

Gold package: changes after completion are included at no extra cost.

Support arrangements or pricing can be discussed and agreed between both parties if needs change in the future.

6. Website ownership

Ownership of the completed website is transferred to the client once full payment has been received. Pritchard Web Design will assist with handover and can continue to support the website under the terms of the chosen package.

7. Changes during development

Reasonable minor changes requested before final approval are included within the agreed package price. Major redesigns or additional features beyond the chosen package may incur additional charges, which will always be agreed before the work is carried out.

8. Communication & project abandonment

The upfront commitment fee confirms the client's intention to proceed with the project. Once the website has been completed, the client will receive a preview for review.

The client agrees to respond within 2 calendar days of being notified that the website is complete.

If no response is received within 7 days, and reasonable attempts have been made to contact the client, the project may be considered abandoned. In this situation, Pritchard Web Design reserves the right to remove the website from its systems and terminate the project.

The commitment fee is non-refundable once work has begun. The website will not be published until the remaining balance has been paid in full.

9. Right to refuse service

Pritchard Web Design reserves the right to refuse or cancel any project that:

• Contains illegal, offensive or misleading content
• Infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
• Involves abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards the designer
• Breaches these Terms & Conditions

10. Liability

Pritchard Web Design will take reasonable care to ensure the website functions correctly when it is published.

Pritchard Web Design cannot be held responsible for problems caused by third-party hosting providers, domain registrars, software updates, service outages, or changes made by anyone other than Pritchard Web Design.
